The Place making and space shaping project was the last project I carried out in my first year. I designed a retail space named 'Catsup' which would sell an array of jams, pickles, chutneys and preserves. To make the experience individual for each customer, there was a space within the store, whereby customers could create their own products and personalise existing ones, to provide them with truely unique products. The ground floor contained ready made products and kept the cutomer journey short by allowing them to choose quickly, purchase the items and leave the store. There was then the first floor for those who would have more time to make, try and personalise items to their own preferences.
