Lines, Rhythms, Labyrinths
This series is about exploring processes; tinkering with systems of creating, using timer, limited materials, tools and colour palette, to automate and streamline the creative process.
Experimenting with intuitive drawing akin to a Surrealist exercise of automatic writing; merging and blending intuitive mark making with random collage cutouts, images from random old books and stills from films.
The process is the work. The time-lapse videos and ink drawings are part of the documentation, a way to capture the energy and flow of the process.
