Architecture of the Departing
"Architecture of the Departing" is an exhibition of the artist Sasha Braulov, which took place at the DiDi Gallery (St. Petersburg) in 2022. It was a collection of embroidered objects of Soviet constructivism. For the exhibition, an interactive catalog was made.

The artist worries that the architecture of constructivism is rapidly collapsing without the necessary restoration. The catalog highlights this problem — works with existing buildings are printed on plain paper, while works with destroyed ones are on translucent tracing paper.
Artworks are classified into four sections by geography — each one starts with its color divider. Modular layout allows to dynamically arrange blocks with information about the work on the pages. The display typeface refers to the font used in avant-garde artists' books.
