Astro Photography - Shot from 2015 through 2020

During my studies I was required to produce a body of work and chose to focus my portfolio on astrophotography, even though I had never even attempted it. With just over a month before the due date, my teachers were surprised and sceptical that I could complete 10 images in this time. I began living a nocturnal life. Driving near and far from home at night to find locations suitable, and just began shooting. I would listen to audio books to pass the time, as some star trail photo sessions took 6 hours or more. My favourite book at this time was Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan, and luckily, the audio book was narrated by Carl Sagan himself. I've never felt more in touch with our planet and universe than listening to Carl Sagan read Pale Blue Dot to me while I am actively capturing the universe.
