Farta is a great magazine about portuguese food, brought to life by Another Collective and Rafael Tonon. The first issue is about Porto’s incomparable dish Francesinha, that I had the pleasure to illustrate amongst beautiful writing and photography by very talented creatives.
As any reinterpreted traditional dish, the Francesinha also has its shot at a deconstructed version here. That's what "Frnaecsihna" is but, pretentiousness aside, it is also an ode to great ingredients swinging on the plate. Some people can keep the glorious tower whole till the very last bite. I myself, will likely end up with steak to one side, sausage to the other. Tidy, messy, or deconstructed, here's my tribute to Porto's icon, the Francesinha, for Farta Magazine.
