I am a Contradiction
An exploration in self promotion and identity
When developing my self promotional piece, I quickly decided I not only wanted to introduce myself as a designer but also as a person. I love variety and have a diverse array of interests and personality traits. I am a walking contradiction. While this makes me an interesting conversation partner, it also adds to my value as a designer. I am able to connect with a variety of projects and visual styles. I can understand and work with a variety of clients and their needs. I am adaptable and enjoy the variety my work and personality bring. Ultimately graphic design has the push and pull of art and business. So I’m simply a contradictory person in a contradictory discipline.
