Hiccup's Hut on Dragon's Edge
Hiccup's character is naturally curious and wants to learn. His hut is a reflection of his love for inventing, building, creating and exploring everything 'dragon'. The hut is decked out with many of Hiccup's inventions and contraptions he's been able to develop with the help of dragons. For example, a big difference from the standard Viking hut is the addition of steel elements ('Gronckle Iron') - a feat only possible with the help of a Gronckle's unique firepower. On the other hand, the construction of the roof is a nod to traditional boat building techniques; with the use of streamlined 'carvel planking'. However, this method is more 'modern' in comparison to typical traditional Nordic 'clinker-built' boats - likely an indication of Hiccup's ingenuity and improved engineering capabilities compared to other vikings.
