This work is based off of a scenario that happened in a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign I played with some friends of mine.

While sailing to a exotic isalnd we were attacked by a pirate ship. We threw ropes across, and began to fight back, but just as we gained the upper hand a third enemy joined the battle. This new enemy was a giant sea monster that planned to eat both ships in one bite. As our ships began to fall into the monsters mouth, a pirate yelled "What do we do about the slaves below deck!?". Wasting no time, our parties wizard used his power to hold both ships in mid-air. Several heros lept to the enemy ship, and charged the lower decks to rescue the slaves. Just as the last of the slaves made it onto our ship, the pirate ship was dropped, falling down into the monsters throat. We then fought off the remaining pirates, tossed a few over the railing, and sailed to safety.
