My task was to create 7 different packaging designs for different shower steamers.
With the thought that made from natural ingredients, eco-friendly product doesn't always have to be packaged in delicate or earthy designs, the new packaging system proves that, sometimes, standing out is more important than fitting in.
Shower steamers are the perfect solution. They provide the therapeutic benefits of essential oils, but in half the time of a bath. Shower steamers are also great for clearing out your sinuses, detoxing and clarifying your skin, and re-creating the spa experience at home.
The abstract illustrations on the packages are reminiscent of jets of water, as well as the smooth movement of aromatic steam. For inspiration, I turned to the works of Wassily Kandinsky and, of course, did not forget the color theory of a Bauhaus teacher, Johannes Itten.
