Searchlight: Stories of the Second World War
I created a series of illustrations and animating them for a new online exhibit by National Museums NI called Searchlight: Stories of the Second World War. The project delves into the museum's collections and uncovers the stories relating to the Second World War within objects, documents, photographs, paintings, newspapers and oral histories.
Read the fascinating life stories of Alice Berger Hammerschlag, Cecil Kilpatrick, Kenneth Brown and Maureen Lightbody – four people who lived in Northern Ireland with vastly different experiences of the war. Many thanks to Shona MacKay and Aaron Ward of National Museums NI.
