This composition was built on the looping, editing and re-arranging of a piano sample and found sounds. The found sounds were panned around the stereo field to create a sense of movement. Automation of the rhythmic value of the ping-pong delay on the rhythmic synths added melodic and rhythmic variation and drive from the middle of the piece to its end.
The 16th note synth passage at the end carries the listener’s interest until the song finishes. Focus is provided in the breaks by cut up samples of children laughing and found sounds which occupy more mid range frequencies and harmonic content.
