Som-Num visual branding

SOM-NUM BRANDING CONCEPT

Having read the brief from above, Som-Num is an up-and-coming startup that produces smart Mattresses. This brand want a simple and easily recognizable identity.

Going on to the concept formation, I did some research on the deciding concept for Mattress production and I found out that the major cause for Mattress production is to reduce majorly; pain & discomfort.
I decided to create an identity that will convey the originality of the brand and depict the goals the brand strives to achieve. I also did some research on other bedding agencies logos and I was able to come up with an identity that uses a relaxing chair icon to represent comfort and relaxation and I also rounded it with divided circles to represent smartness and striving to perfection.
I also put the brand three given liked logos as sample for what the identity  will look like. I used the takeaways to create a combination mark consisted with a word and abstract mark.
The colour Blue is used to convey sense of trust and comfortability while the orange was used to convey the feeling of happiness.​​​​​​​
