The Perfect Brew
One of my favourite activities, this video was created during a college activity given to us where we were given a zip folder filled with royalty free content and tasked with creating a video titled "The Perfect Brew".
When making this video I decided that the only way to show that a brewed coffee was really good, was if it kept you staying for another refill. So I gathered all the clips which had the same actor, as well as several timelapse clips, and created this video. The video features heavy use of cross disolve transitions for their effectiveness at conveying the passage of time, perfect for transitioning between timelapses which are being used to show time passing at the coffeeshop. However, I did also leave in a few simple jump cuts as well as experimenting with a passing transition from the woman drinking the coffee to the barista making it.
