Lake Bridge Park visual identity

About THE park
Lake Bridge Park is a large green space – oasis, created for Coimbra‘s (Portugal) citizens and tourists to relax and hide from the concrete walls. Lake Bridge Park has a uniqueness – most of the park territory are lakes, so there are more than 20 different bridges. Also, except for park pathways and greenery, there are places for outdoor activities: bicycle, roller skates, scooters and boats for rent, playgrounds, cafés, arbours, a stage for concerts and an open-air cinema.

About THE Visual identity

Lake Bridge Park is an oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle.
When people visit the park, it is as if they can talk with the nature inside them, relax, concentrate on good thoughts. Fresh air, is all you need for a good mood.

Knowing that in the park there are more than 20 different bridges that connect all lakes, the primary idea for visual identity was connection of nature with people - just like a bridge. Logo, typography, colors, graphics and photos are the main elements of identity. Working together, they create warm and positive feelings about the brand. You can notice a light playfulness in all the visual elements. You can feel comfort from photos and color elements, as well as feel cared for by the graphics.

About THE logo
Lake Bridge Park logo consist of symbols and text. The symbol is made to look like a bridge. It symbolizes a connection between people and nature. The symbol is divided into different segments that show variety of bridges and symbolize a lot of different activities in the park. Selected font shows a light playfulness and openness because of specific letters: a, k, i and g.
P.S. This project was made up for a design course, this park doesn‘t exist.
