ABOUT ORENDA:
Orenda Foundation is a nature- and human-centric non-profit in Curaçao. Through reforestation and regenerative agriculture, the foundation aims to improve the ecological condition of the island. Through planting of public food forests, education and involvement of the community in its projects, Orenda's goal is to increase the quality of life for people in Curaçao.
PROJECT'S PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the website is to involve the community in the projects of Orenda and share its vision with the public. Orenda wishes to involve people through volunteering and education. On the website, Orenda's team also collects donations to help sustain the foundation financially.
UX/UI:
Apart from sustaining the website's main purpose, the design and layout also focuses on ease of usability and navigation. The elements are consistent in their use. The animations of elements and buttons are minimal to keep the attention around the main focus of the website. Mobile and tablet versions are adapted to maintain the comfortable looks and usability of the website.
