Relish is Canada’s new Food & Lifestyle Multimedia, Multi-platform HD service: showcasing video features on every screen from smart phones to connected TVs for a global community. Relish will feature first-run food, fashion, and lifestyle programming from tastemakers throughout Canada. Relish aims to target those who want to make more conscientious choices in their current lives to make a sustainable lifestyle. Relish’s overall tone is celebratory, positive, and inspirational. Relish won’t feature shows where people are told they’re too fat, too stupid, or too dumb. Nobody gets humiliated or embarrassed. Their shows will be inclusive and life-affirming.
The Relish logo involves a nameplate and a symbol, the symbol resembles the three different ways the viewer is able to watch Relish's programming through TV, mobile and computers. This aligns with Relish's aim to have connection and create a community. The symbol is also uplifting, fun and stylish by its upward curves. The symbol also looks like a slice of an orange, going with the saying a slice of life referring to how the brand wants to be portrayed. The nameplate is a bold sans serif font that is clean, fresh, confident and natural as the letters are spaced evenly and similar in nature.
