About SoilLab
A platform that allows plant enthusiasts to know more about their plants, such as plant care tips,
and get the right potting mix for their plants.

Why SoilLab?

User Interviews
Our target audience (aged 25 to 55) participated in the user interviews.
The information gathered is categorized with affinity mapping and concluded.

The Problem
Problem statements were then derived.

User Persona
"Hezron" was created based on the interviews conducted.

The Solution
How Might We
help "Hezron" with his plant care routine?

Usability Test and Insights
An unmoderated test is conducted based on the goals and tasks.

From Paper to Pixel
Sketching and wireframing were done before the final product.

Brand Design
A color palette catered for the young and mature audience aged 25 to 55. A sans-serif typeface,
Helvetica is used for its neutrality as it is friendly to the eye and is adaptable from the header to the body copy.

The Final Product
During the design process, iterations were carried out before producing the final product. We also took feedback from our users during our three rounds of usability tests for further improvement and refinement of our prototype.

Final Thoughts

Special thanks to Anthony, Hezron, Jenny, Hong Shin, Yazmeen, Raymond, Roger, and Billy
for participating in the user interviews and testing.
