WHAT IS GEO/DAY?
GEO/DAY (geoperday) is my current solo Entrepreneurial Design project. Started from a Tumblr blog (launched on Feb 10, 2014) and an Instagram that curating geometry inspirations and discoveries from various fields such as art, design, architecture, creative coding and fashion, which prepared the community base for developing the online store (GEO Design Store), selling related geometric design products.

WHAT AM DOING FOR GEO/DAY?
• Platforms management and media promotion
Building the Tumblr blog and Instagram for sharing visual inspiration, gathering valuable followers. GEO/DAY blog now has 30+ followers and 110+ followers on Instagram. I carefully adopted digital marketing and promotion strategy to run the platforms. Also, through the blog, I successfully connect to many artists, galleries and magazine who became GEO/DAY’s followers.
• Content curation
To maintain a visual platform with rich and high quality content, I carefully curated the content I post on Tumblr and Instagram. My content source include a wide range of design and art works from fields such as painting, installation, architecture, creative coding and fashion, surrounding a central concept - geometry.
• Visual identity and product design
GEO/DAY visual identity design, and a series of geometric element poster design for sell.
• Etsy store management
The final goal of the project is to achieve $1000 revenue on May. So the social media platform that I build will transform some of my followers into my customers. Also, in Etsy, I will promote my shop and earn reputation through favorite shops and items in the Etsy community.
• External relationship
Contact with other visual platform (featured by visual platform 2dots); artist interviews.
