The inspiration of this painting came to me while watching a random ad on TV, picturing ballerinas.
It makes me think how underappreciated Indonesian traditional dances are in the eyes of it's own people; comparing to international / modern dances.
I want people to see this problem that this painting points out in a bigger picture. How this attitude also applies to other international / modern cultures and custom, as the rapid flow of information were received.
