Alyssa Thomas is truly one of the best college basketball players in the history of the game. Over the course of four years at Maryland, Thomas has amassed over 2,000 points, 1000 rebounds, three ACC Player of the Year awards (2012, 2013, 2014), and was three time AP All-American (2012, 2013, 2014). Her play, leadership, and work-ethic have made Maryland a National Championship contender every year she's been a student athlete. Going down as one of the best, if not the best, Maryland Women's Basketball has ever seen, the number 25 will be retired and forever honored in the history books of Maryland Women's Basketball.
