Nikkori Sushi Valentine's Day

NIKKORI SUSHI is a restaurant that especializes in the elaboration of Japanese cuisine, offering both sushi bar and delivery service. It opened its doors on March of 1993 in Monterrey, Mexico, and with over 20 years of experience, and over 13 branches under the NIKKORI brand and 25 under two other brands operated by the NIKKORI group in Mexico and Central America, it is concidered to be the most important Japanese Cuisine restaurant in North Mexico.
Koi (鯉) or more specifically nishikigoi (錦鯉, literally "brocaded carp"), are ornamental varieties of domesticated common carp (Cyprinus carpio) that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor koi ponds or water gardens.
The word koi comes from Japanese, simply meaning "carp." It includes both the dull grey fish and the brightly colored varieties. What are known as koi in English are referred to more specifically as nishikigoi in Japan (literally meaning "brocaded carp"). In Japanese, koi is a homophone for another word that means "affection" or "love"; koi are therefore symbols of love and friendship in Japan, making them the perfect image for a Valentine's Day special edition.
