Always Avoid Poor Systems in Employee Rewards and Recognition

There are many companies in the world, some of them are very much popular, initiate a process of employee recognition which are innovative as well as effective. The rewards in return optimistically affects the company in raising the productivity and the position. Their evaluative system for giving rewards are per-planned, more organized, and much more creative than any other general organization. It helps in the perfect recognition of the individuals who are worth of their prize.

But at the same time, it may be mentioned here that, there are also many companies existing around the world who do not take the employee rewards and recognition seriously. They incorporate certain general and random procedures for evaluation. This later affects the company’s employment crisis and eventually to loose in productivity and global position.

It should be recommended for the companies who are about to initiate an employee rewards and recognition, they should avoid certain necessary things. These parameters negatively affect the recognition program and in turn results in loosing of many important deals and talented employees.

Do not always use cash for rewarding: Although it is certain that people around the world are always in need of money and many employee programs concentrate on giving away cash rewards, but that is not at all a good idea for all the time. Some employees always want their appreciation to be public and expects to be patted by their leaders and colleagues. So initiating such kind of tasks might be more helpful.

Generic Rewards: Giving away rewards the same as they are giving others is too much generic. Rather, personalizing them according to the employees’ needs would be very helpful. It will boost the confidence level of the employees and would also initiate an amount of getting further recognition through a successful employee rewards and recognition.

Avoiding biasness and corruption: Incorporating a justified employee rewards and recognition helps in proper identification of deserving employees. Sometimes, the company officials in response to sheer biasness picks up those of their own choice and those who are not worth it. This demotivates the talented employees and results in quitting of their jobs which affects the company in various negative ways.

Absence of creativity: The recognition program should be energetic and, at the same time, should be creative, otherwise, the employers will lose their interest towards the rewards.

If the following points should be replaced with newer ideas and thoughts, then that would increase the company’s employment generation. Hiring new and talented employees and rewarding the deserved ones will improve the company’s position in various sectors.
