The NJ Weight Loss Doctors group, at the time of designing these logos, recently became a new client of Verasoni Worldwide. For this client, we started with a rebrand. This is a showcase of my work on preliminary designs for their new logo.
The main goal of this redesign was to turn their previously busy logo into a clean, professional logo that works on all media platforms. This was done using primarily logotype and clean, sans-serif typefaces, and using different font weights and typefaces of various weights for contrast, which ties in the theme of weight in the brand.
As the client wanted mostly type in their new logo, the focus is of the design is on the shape of the type itself. Few shapes were used, and only in a couple logos. The circle is used to seem soft and friendly, and a square with inward-curved sides is used as a subtle representation of the slim waist associated with weight loss.
The client chose logo number 3, approved of the colors chosen by my team, and the final logo is ready to go.
