ASU Graduation Shirt Design

AIGA Poly club challenge was to create an ASU graduation shirt design. Currently, ASU bookstore sells three graduation themed shirts, yet no of them reference GIT track.
*Requirements involved following ASU color guidelines. Typography used was ASU's custom Sun Devil Bold. The logo and pitchfork belong to ASU.
Final design displayed on a t-shirt.
Design Process All ideas were created in Adobe Illustrator
First approach involved the ASU Pitchfork. A 3d and flat concept were created. This attempt allowed for complete creativity, therefore the pitchfork was elongated.
Pros: The flat scroll looks unique and could be used in a future design.
Cons: The 3d style did not fit with ASU brand style and looked strange on a shirt. The pitchfork does not follow guidelines, therefore not a viable option.
This second design did not alter the pitchfork and used the previous idea in a style that could fit with ASU brand guidelines.
Pros: Follows guidelines and uses the pitchfork.
Cons: looks like a standard t-shirt design found at any university.
After the design challenge was over, I was still thinking about designs due to my excitement about graduating this semester. This led to my final design of the ASU logo over a scroll that displays both the year and GIT track.
Pros: New style that includes GIT track.
Cons: The ASU and scroll combo is my favorite, yet further feedback is required for any next steps.
Other ideas for the wording on the scroll. GIT paired with 22 won since the design finally includes my degree. The ASU logo with the brand colors on the scroll is enough to connect the two, therefore ASU is not needed on the scroll. As for stickers or other designs the ASU 22 would be a good alternative.
