As a part of a class assignment, we created a museum of objects.
- Each member of the class was asked to bring 5 non-expensive yet precious objects.
- We had 90 objects in total, and everyone took turns to explain the significance of their o objects.
- Then, went around the class looking at all the objects and created about 8-9 categories to curate the objects under.
- After I decided 8 categories, I selected 4 categories to focus on. Out of those 4, I took one category which I liked the best and created a framework for it.
In the themes I chose, I tried to incorporate multi-sensorial elements of the object, trying to look at activating or evoking different senses from the viewer, not just visual.
