It is an eternally immutable rule:

The Eye Gatherers leave their nests on the first day of spring,

dive into the dense forests that cover the hills 

and begin their annual harvest ritual 

where they collect fresh, juicy and curious 

Lookfruits. 

To endure the boredom 

of the long winter nights spent in seclusion, 

they embroider patterns on the harvest boxes 

depicting the "Day of Appearance." 

They pursue their harvest, 

traveling the realm 

until the next equinox.

By any chance if wanderers,
or mortal souls like us who get lost in the woods
come across them,
you know,
they cannot
believe their eyes.
