Design Achievement
The Centennial Middle School project involves the renovation of Harold Oliver Elementary School to expand its capacity and accommodate 6th-grade students alongside the existing 7th and 8th grades. The renovated building will now serve as the new middle school. As part of the initial project scope, the media center, security vestibule, locker rooms, and science classrooms were included. The XGD Studio at DLR Group was initially assigned the responsibility of creating experiential graphics for the renovated school, and during that process, a new logo was developed.

Scope Summary
Throughout the years, a range of cougar images were utilized as an identity symbol, leading to an inconsistent representation for the school. As part of the experiential graphics initiative, a cougar was introduced and subsequently chosen as the new identity mark. The logo featuring the cougar will be applied to various branded items, including mugs, t-shirts, buttons, patches, and tote bags. DLR Group played a pivotal role in the project, providing services encompassing interior design, experiential graphic design, and brand development.
