Bug furniture collection
The Bug series, conceived as a trio, consists of a stool, a bench and a bench with table. It arises from the need to demonstrate how recycled plastic can be attractive despite having already had a life cycle.

The environment around us is full of used plastic, but many people do not know the importance of "recycling" because this term in the common imagination is compared to something less pleasant than the new.
A witty design that creates functional furniture with a pleasant aesthetic. The inspiration for these objects comes from a deep process of research, which passes from Italian archetypes and exaggerates the structural elements giving importance to simple, but still iconic forms.  The result is an iconic design with a reference to urban environments, which wants to be noticed within any space. The bright colour gives these objects,  at the limit between furniture and furnishings, a lively and playful soul. Furniture that in addition to being functional fully distinguish the space that surrounds them.
My research has led me to understand that many objects around us are composed of high-density polypropylene, HDPE. After collecting several HDPE products, especially bottle caps, in the dumps, I decided to give birth to a series of attractive but functional objects. Each circular seat consists of 1.2 kg of plastic.
Plastic shapes are made with “Il Vespaio”, design studio based in Milan.
