BRIEF

Design of a DIY optimization for a home work station that integrates a midi keyboard of 88keys and other smaller appliances but also leaves enough space for other desk related activities.

     INITIAL PROBLEM

The upper speaker of the studio monitors needs to be in the same level with the ears in order to have high fidelity of sound. Also, the distances between the two monitors and the listeners head has to be equal. Well, this requirements weren't met in the initial configuration of the work station...

     PROBLEM EVOLUTION

A huge item (88key midi keyboard) was added, leaving no space for other activities. Something had to be done!

      SOLUTION

There had to be a retractable level over the keyboard and one more even higher for the studio monitors. So after a little ideation the most logical, economical and easily accomplished solution was apparent and it worked like a charm!
