ILLUSTRATION For this project I was tasked with creating a set of ForeverUSA stamps. My set portrays prominent Black figures as Wakandan leaders and warriors. The goal was to pay tribute to a few of those who had large contributions to Black culture in America in terms of music, sports, politics, business, and education. The collection itself intends to showcase these figures as superheroes in a way that is tied to their Blackness. I aligned each figure with the Wakandan tribe I felt they'd belong to.
