Vangi Batata, Aloo Baingan as known in Hindi, is a staple Brinjal-Potato curry dish made in Maharashtrian households. The illustration was made as a series of posts on Instagram. The series was dedicated to releasing everyday home recipes that are family favourite and is perfected by one of the members at home. The post consisted of a quote by the cook about their recipe, the ingredients and also steps to be followed. The illustration was made keeping in mind the Marathi speaking audiences and thus uses Marathi-Devanagari along with English-Latin for the instructions.
