The wooden framework for a traditional Korean house, hanok, done as a study. A lot of my work involves traditional Korean architecture, so I wanted to spend some time getting a deep understanding of how all the components interlock.

The soil is set in to give the tiles their characteristic curvature, and the wood logs add extra weight to ensure the roof sits properly on the framework.
