Cultural assault: Entrance Tunnel
D-CD was hired by Jordan and Satis+Fy to assist in creating an event space in what used to be known as Cafe Rouge in New York.
The former 1920's ballroom and nightclub for New York's elite was transformed into a full size basketball court and locker rooms to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Carmelo Anthony signing with Jordan Brand and to coincide with the launch of the 10th shoe, the M10. Invited guests were first led through an entrance tunnel which illustrated a cultural timeline of Melo's life before entering into a members only type of locker room. The project was a collaboration with Jordan NYC and Game7 who orchestrated the event planning and helped to define the audience.
