During a project with the material «Tyvek», I wanted to use one specific attribute of this paper : its resistance. I decided to create a paper shelf, designed to withstand a considerable load, books, and magazines.
With a counterweight system, different books can remain stable. The paper stays stretched and held in place by the sand, situated on the shelf sides. So, we can put some books; currently there are 16kg of books placed on top.
