IMPRINT is a mobile application that uses imagery to provide users with a connection to the history and physical space of that location. IMPRINT is for those who grew up with unlimited access to information, yet are disconnected from history and obsessed with the now.
IMPRINT notifies users when they are near a pinpoint on the map, giving them a map with the location indicated. Once found, the user will be shown information related to the area and/or an image.
Visually using maps, directional signage, and a strong grid structure, IMPRINT focuses on providing the user with an interesting story or fact about their surroundings. IMPRINT also aims to provide a unique experience in the physical place of the person, by giving the user a little treasure by finding the location.
