The Maasvlaktestrand or Slufterstrand is a wide sandy beach on the Maasvlakte (Port of Rotterdam, The Netherlands) that was created in 1987 along the Slufter, a large-scale depot for the storage of dredged material. The beach is popular among water sports enthusiasts, who can use the beach all year round. There is also a rich fauna and it gives beautiful pictures.
