From local server to an award-winning Minecraft World
Requested by SHIFT Porter Novelli for Microsoft Central America, "Costa Rica del Bitcentenario" was a 6-month project to recreate iconic Costarican landmarks inside Minecraft, and engineering a open-sandbox type of experience for users to contribute to the collaborative world, in celebration of Costa Rica's 200th year since its independence.
World design, engineering, and construction was led by myself, in conjunction with 3 more "builders" for the project, using original plans for the building as reference for the constructions.
