I wanted to create a pair of portraits for Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark for their jubilee celebrations this year.

They may have aged, but the jewels have stayed sparkling and timeless. Even without their faces, these jewels are instantly recognizable.
