My recent work includes a closer examination of fossilized trees and debris swept ashore along the Vancouver coastline. My 5 new paintings, From Above ,of one particular tree during a cold winter night cause the viewer to look upward and see it bare boned, alone, vulnerable and framed by the dark sky.These paintings are included in the Bestb4 Collective exhibition currently showing at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Vancouver. My portfolio includes collaborative exhibitions, curating group shows, and an online catalogue.
