This work starts with the question raised by this exhibition: “How to represent volume?” Volume as “the open box” that is free from boundaries and restrictions displays itself in an unknown and undefined space. It is represented here in the invisible space. The shadow is “the plane” which helps us to see that space; human figures are the objects that enhance the volumetric expression. They also help the presentation of the feeling of “the weightlessness and immateriality”*.Thus, the shadow, transparencies, and figures are the objects of different volumetric expressions.
