Sài Gòn 100 Thức Ngon | 100 Tasty Food in Saigon
A follow up to 100 Views of Saigon, it is an ongoing personal journal of my culinary exploration in Ho Chi Minh City to be seen as a vibrant food paradise, a melting pot of flavors where different regions of Vietnam (and the world) meet within its hidden gems along its alleys and corners.
To be able to bring out a dish's appetite appeal, I must be able to enjoy and savor eating it where it's located and then take photo references of it. From here enters my iPad Pro from sketch to the final artwork - impressionistic strokes with a vibrant palette using pastel, chalks and roller brushes to create the overall tasty mood. If it made you hungry, then the work is a success!
