THE CONCEPT
I wanted to create an illustration that highlights each member in their own special way. For example, I wanted to call out Sean's cool name for his studio "Ryusuke Love Hotel" and Lachlan's "Kyohei Beat Loft." Aside from playing bass, Michael Sloane is the "director" of the group, hence I made him have a film studio logo under his name. Surrounding the shirt are all these graphic references you would find in their music videos, songs, or media about them. If you know, you know 😉

COLORS
Black and white only for a classic punk look while minimizing costs 😉 If you know about printing shirts, each color adds up the price quick. Besides, there is something challenging but rewarding with using such a restrictive color palette!
I had the honor to meet the Last Dinosaurs back in November 2019 and of course I wanted to use this chance to gift each of the Dinos the shirt!

During early 2020, Australia was suffering from massive wildfires. I wanted to help so I decided to sell made-to-order shirts for $40, with half of the proceeds going to organizations that combat the fires (the other half goes towards t-shirt production).
Thanks to very generous fans, we were able to donate $100+ to help combat the fires and for recovery!
