Bioethical Considerations and Strategies to inhabit the
Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Abstract:

Science and technology have always stimulated controversies. Galileo Galilei, Giordano Bruno and Nikola Tesla are some historical examples of disputes in this regard. The Industrial Revolution was the starting pistol of a race which seems to have no end, where industrialization itself is updated as if by generations or patches, in a growing and inevitable replacement of human skills by automation and robotization. The fourth upgrade of Industry, however, requires modifications of the human constitution itself for optimum performance. Civilization, absolutely dependent on Industry, is about to enter the Era of Transhumanism. Neuralink is, without a doubt, the first step in this direction.
Guidelines for dealing with the transhumanist phenomenon:

-  It is necessary to avoid technophobia and neo-Luddism.

-  The extension of the mass-man mentality could endanger the continuity of technological development, without which our life would be unviable.

-  Complete security, as well as complete avoidance of risks, are impossible goals.

- The education and reorientation of desires must be an essential element in a more sensible and adequate use and deployment of technology.

-  It is necessary to develop technologies that do not radically separate us from nature. The technique does not have a predefined logic that prevents its control by human beings.
