Through his journeys and movements, an octopus is embodied in these works, the extension of Courbisme so dear to Amaury Dubois. Often the preserve of the plant world, this collection of Octopus's oil paintings are based on the underwater world. The tentacles of the octopus, its way of hanging on and moving through the ocean, recalls unequivocally the shapes and curves suggested by the artist. Painting the moment in motion, observing their lives in action in another world, separated by a symbolic wall that reveals a different reality.
