Experimenting with alternative illuminating sources in promotional object photography

This study aims to provide an alternative and cost-effective solution to creating professional-looking photographic images using alternative illuminating sources that are on a budget and available in almost every household. I believe that one is able produce professional photographic images that are able to compete with images that are shot in a studio with professional lighting equipment. This study in a way, aims to provide a guide for the beginner, amateur, and even experienced photographer. It does so by describing the process of creating a professional image using alternative light sources coupled with long exposure times, in the hope of widening concept and creativity.
