RÖTHIEN is a fictional watch company for which I made a logo and campaign. I was inspired thinking about time and how it works. It is constant, yet ever changing. This heavily influenced my designs.
initial sketches of logo ideas. i played with two concepts: time breaking the fourth wall of life in an "all the world's a stage" metaphor. the second concept was working off of the golden ration, also known as the golden rectangle, to demonstrate how perfectly time is kept.


the final image logo solution. the company name umlauts revolve nicely in an orbital pattern based off of the golden ratio.
