Daegu Glasses Street Revitalization Book Design Project '테나네'

Although Daegu currently has a high position in the eyewear industry, and various efforts are being made to overcome the recent recession, we have confirmed the fact that there are no books documenting and reporting this fact. Accordingly, we started to weave <TAENANE> to present ideas that can contribute to future development by introducing a lot of information about Daegu and glasses in various ways.

대구 안경거리 살리기 프로젝트 ‘테나네(테가나는 곳)’

현재 대구가 안경산업에 높은 입지를 가지고 있고, 최근 침체되는 위기를 극복하기 위하여 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있음에도 불구하고 이러한 사실을 기록하고 알리는 서적이 전무하다는 사실을 확인하였습니다. 이에 대구와 안경에 관련하여 모인 많은 정보를, 다양한 방법으로 소개하며 미래 발전에 기여할 수 있는 아이디어를 제시하고자 <테나네>를 엮기 시작하였습니다.

In '테나네', there are '태', which means stylish, and '테', which means glasses. Let me introduce Daegu, the place where the fetal frame is made from fun language play.

‘테나네’에는 맵시를 뜻하는 ‘태’와 안경의 ‘테’가 공존합니다. 재밌는 언어유희로 태어난 태나는 테가 나는 곳, 대구를 소개합니다.

Using the book cover as a silk screen, it delivers an intuitive and reliable image of the book.

책표지를 실크스크린으로 활용하여 직관적이면서도 확실한 책의 이미지를 전달합니다.

Before entering the book, infographic made it easy to understand the current situation of the Daegu glasses industry as an image. The infographic, which went in the form of a wing, intended to feel like opening the leg of the glasses when opened by inserting a leg graphic on the other side.

책에 들어가기전 인포그래픽은 대구안경산업의 실태를 이미지로 쉽게 이해할 수 있게 만들었습니다. 날개 형식으로 들어간 인포그래픽은 반대쪽에 안경다리그래픽을 넣어 열었을때 안경의 다리를 여는것과 같은 느낌을 받게 의도하였습니다.

In order to show the characteristics of glasses' 'visible' in the book, the treceing paper was used as an interior, and fun was given by inducing behavior to the reader.

안경의 '보인다'라는 특성을 책에 나타내고자 트레싱지를 내지로 활용하였으며, 읽는 사람에게 행동을 유도함으로서 재미를 부여하였습니다.
