Redesigning three volumes in a classic book series.

 

I chose Jane Austen´s first three books. To emphasize that this is a classic series, I  chose a traditional layout of typography. The font is from the same time that she lived. On the front and back of the books the text is treated as «labels».

 

The covers gives you a sneak peek into what the books are about; hearts, mix ups,  broken promises and chaos. The yarn gives you a feeling of the feminine you are about to witness.
