Removing hair from a background takes careful work to complete. Wispy hairs are lost when removing a model from an original background. In this "after" photo, the wisps were carefully hand-drawn back on the model's hair for natural edges. The background can now be replaced with any color or scene.

Retouching features include removing the green reflection halo from the model's hair, masking out stray hairs, and overall color, lighting, and sharpness corrections.
