I am an illustrator in Japan.

I usually draw illustrations for Card Game, textbooks.
I like old simple machines riveted, repaired and painted many times.

"Dóboc" is my personal work.
These are different from my ordinary works.

Machines of Dóboc move without human being.
Yes, they live.
They start constructing their own world.

Why "Dóboc" is the name?

In Japanese, "Doboku" means earth and trees,
or constructing something big---buildings, bridges, roads.

And I like old animations made in Czech.
In these animations, things (dishes, cups---) were used to be living.
"Ó" has the feeling of Czech for me.

So I named them "Dóboc".
They are living machines and start constructing their own world.
